2026 marks the first year we are going to be offering themed digital convention badges to the public for purchase. We made 10 of these unique badges in total and as of the time Megaplex starts, 5 of them will be available for purchase.
These unique themed digital badges are inspired by the Megaplex 2026 theme. We drew from the "In Gen Biogenetics" company colors and astatic to bring you a badge that has the look and feel of a medical labritory.
Express yourself with un to 5 seconds of looping video on the round display, 4 lines of text on the e-paper display, and an animated DNA strand with a color gradient inspired by your choice from 13 pride flags.
We are asking $160 for these convention badges. They come with the badge, a magnetic lanyard, a magnetic charging cable, AC adaptor and a carying case.
Crisis Wolf 3D seen on the left is the engineer. He programs the badges, designs the user interface, models the case in Blender, and wires all the components together. Zzendan seen on the right is the artist and designer. He creates the look and color scheme for the device. He also does all the painting and finishing work.
We started Gnoll Byte June 2026 when we became a licensed vender. The purpose of this company is to provide unique themed electronic items made by furries for the furry fandom. 2026 will be the big test. If we find people are truly interested in the badges we create, you will be able to look forward to us returning with all new badges next year.
Megaplex 2026 was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who took interest in our digital convention badges. We are now hard at work making a whole new product for 2027. Stay tuned to see what incredible new convention badge we have in store for next year!
